Modern Maple's owner Kasi Burke decided to open her artisan boutique to share her passion for supporting small Canadian businesses.  With a background in business and an entrepreneurial drive she made this dream come to life in May of 2019.  She is continuously inspired by Canadian artisans who are courageous enough to take their passions to the next level, turn them into a small business and just go for it!  Kasi's vision for Modern Maple is to share with others, the unique, quality and modern handmade goods created by Canadian makers.  She loves being able to share with her customers the who, what, where and how of each and every product that she carries.  Modern Maple is proud to feature over 75 Canadian makers (many local) from coast to coast.
